Stained Salmonella Antigen
This kit is used to detect specific antibodies produced in response to Salmonella antigens. The killed bacterial suspension contains Salmonella antigens ‘O’, ‘H’, ‘AH’, and ‘BH’.
When mixed with patient serum, these antigens react with their corresponding immuno-specific antibodies—if present—leading to visible agglutination (clumping) on the slide. This agglutination confirms the presence of antibodies against Salmonella.
